July Volunteer Working Party

On a very hot July Saturday volunteers from Wallasey Division rolled up their sleeves to repaint Cedar campsite shelter and restore the campfire circle. Brambles that had encroached were cut back, a new wood pile created and the logs around the campfire replaced.

After a much need lunch break of bacon and sausage butties the volunteers applied preservative to the new gate and fence on the car park; the totem poles and the picnic tables by the Gate House.

A big thanks to the team who helped today and we look forward to welcoming West Division to our next working party on Saturday 15th September 10am – 3pm.
