Vauxhall Volunteers! – Thank You June 2017

On one of the wettest days in June we welcomed a team of 15 volunteers from Vauxhall Motor’s Ellesmere Port Plant to Hadlow Fields.  Despite the heavy morning rain the volunteers achieved an amazing amount by removing the storm damaged shelter by the adventure playground; installing new sittings logs in the adventure playground area; and cutting back the nettles around all campsite shelters.

Following a tea break and bacon butties they then moved on to clear the land alongside the toilet block; paint the boys toilets, paint the dorm in the cottage and finally clear the felled wood from Cedar Campsite!
