New Picnic Area & Pathway – June 2017

Thanks to the continuing fundraising support of girls, parents and leaders all across Girlguiding Wirral we have now finish the new path and roadway around the Gate House. We also received funds from the Coop Community Fund too!. The pathway makes accessing the camping fields for campers carrying their tents and rucksacks much easier and the installation of the large gate across the roadway improves safety on the camping fields.

As part of this work directly behind the Gate House we’ve also created a new picnic area with tables and seats for site users to have lunch at or sit and enjoy views across the camping fields. As the summer progresses we’ll be adding more picnic tables, benches and flower planters to the area.
